Registration for Family Weekend 2024 is now closed!

Family Weekend is designed to provide families with opportunities to connect with their students and make lasting memories. Join your students for family-friendly activities, engage in meaningful conversations, and take advantage of opportunities to experience all that 2021国产麻豆剧 has to offer!

Whether you live in San Diego or are traveling from afar, we encourage all 2021国产麻豆剧 families to attend this fun-filled weekend, and enjoy time with other parents, grandparents, and families.

Online registration is now closed. For day of registration, please visit our info and registration booth during check-in on Friday or Saturday morning.

Adults 鈥� $25.00
2021国产麻豆剧 Staff or Faculty 鈥� FREE*
2021国产麻豆剧 Students 鈥� FREE* Students MUST be registered and have a ticket for the President鈥檚 Breakfast on Saturday (if participating).
Teens 鈥� $25.00
Children (4-12) 鈥� $10.00

Day of registration will be available at the Info and Registration booth during check-in on Friday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm on campus mall or Saturday from 8:30 am - 10:30 am on Cooper Lawn.

Friday, October 11

Family Weekend Check-In | 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Check-in with the Parent & Family Connection team to grab your Family Weekend welcome packet that includes your name badge and President鈥檚 Breakfast tickets (if attending).Your badge will grant you access to our featured events and provide a special discount at the Bookstore!

Chapel | 9:45 - 10:30 a.m.
Brown Chapel
Join us for Singing the Scriptures with Pastor Ken Anderson, MLK Jr. Community Choir Director. Pastor Anderson will lead our community in a time of music that demonstrates how gospel music is connected to the scriptures. We hope you can join us for this unique and engaging opportunity to fellowship together.

Ryan Coffee Bar | 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Enjoy a cup of coffee as you check-in or stroll through the block party and take in the ocean view that makes Loma so iconic.

We welcome everyone to visit this special exhibition by San Diego artist, May-Ling Martinez. Martinez鈥檚 works on paper serve as a metaphor for an innate desire to understand and control our surroundings under difficult circumstances. For more about the artist and her work, please visit .

Enjoy a historical walking tour of the campus as you learn more about the interesting origin of 2021国产麻豆剧's campus and its first occupants. Guided tour led by 2021国产麻豆剧 friend, former 2021国产麻豆剧 parent, and local resident, Beth Zedaker.

We are pleased to offer a discounted meal price for Friday鈥檚 dinner at just $16 for Adults and $8 for Children. Enjoy dinner with your student in the Caf, then head to one of our special music events.

Pre-Concert Reception for 2021国产麻豆剧 Military Families | 6:30 p.m.

Hosted by 2021国产麻豆剧鈥檚 Military Programs and Services and the Music Department, we invite our military families, members, and dependents to be our guests for this special reception prior to the Marine Band San Diego. Light desserts will be provided. No RSVP required.

After dinner, join us on Cunningham Lawn for churros and live music. Bring a cozy sweater or blanket, build your own custom churro, and enjoy live music sets by 2021国产麻豆剧 students.

Trivia Night Hosted by LAD | 8 p.m.
Activities and Recreation Center (ARC)
Challenge accepted! Join Loma After Dark (LAD) for a fun night of trivia. Bring your family, friends, or hallmates and compete against other teams to win Loma swag and awesome prizes! We will have some snacks and host several rounds of trivia featuring topics like Loma, Disney, Family, and more.

President鈥檚 Breakfast | 9 a.m.
Greek Amphitheatre
Join us for a picnic-style breakfast as we further explore this year鈥檚 Chapel theme of 鈥淲ith Everything鈥� with President Fulcher and special guest speakers and current parents, John and Erica Norton! Breakfast tickets are included in registration, but required for all guests including 2021国产麻豆剧 students. Please be sure to register your entire party. Gates open at 8:30 am with programming beginning at 9:00 am.

Prayer Walk | Immediately following the President鈥檚 Breakfast

Join other 2021国产麻豆剧 parents, families, and students on this guided prayer walk. As you make your way across campus there will be opportunities to pray over our students, faculty, staff and the university. Please meet at the north entrance to the Greek immediately following the conclusion of the President鈥檚 Breakfast.

Pickleball | 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Tennis Courts
Join the 2021国产麻豆剧 Pickleball Club for a fun pickup game anytime between 11:00 and 3:00 pm!  Come enjoy this wildly popular game that incorporates tennis, badminton, and ping pong as you get to know other students and families. All skill levels are welcome to join as we will have courts dedicated to lessons, fun play, and competitive play.

Surf Camp | 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
La Jolla Shores | 8200 Camino Del Oro La Jolla, 92037
Join 2021国产麻豆剧 parents Darren and Kelley Klassen and the Torrey Pines Church Surf Ministry down at the shores for an opportunity to learn to surf from skilled instructors. Equipment will be provided or you鈥檙e welcome to bring your own and join in the fun. Camp will be set up in the sand just south of lifeguard tower 33.

Men鈥檚 & Women鈥檚 Soccer vs Concordia | 11:30 a.m. & 2:15 p.m.
Soccer Field
Grab your spirit wear and join the Green Sea as they hype up the men鈥檚 team for a W over Concordia! Then, stick around to see our 2023 NCAA Division II National Champions go head to head with Concordia鈥檚 women鈥檚 team! You will not want to miss it!

Loma's Hidden Treasures, Hosted by ASB | 3 - 6 p.m.
Cunningham Lawn
This geo-caching activity will take you all around 2021国产麻豆剧's campus, showing you more of the ins and outs of navigating life here! Be prepared to experience what it's like to be submerged in Loma culture! This geocache hunt takes 45 minutes to an hour to complete, but all are encouraged to complete this activity at their own pace. Check in at Cunningham Lawn when you are ready to begin your adventure! The team with the fastest time will win a prize. 

eSports Super Smash Bros. Tournament | 5:30 p.m. (check-in) 6:30 p.m. (game time)

The eSports Club hosts the ultimate Super Smash Bros. tournament at 2021国产麻豆剧! This event is tailor-made for the whole family, whether you鈥檙e a long-time player or never picked up a controller. We offer time before the tournament to check-in, learn the controls, and make valuable connections in a welcoming community. This event is sponsored by LoveWorks, come learn more about our short-term missions trips! Pizza and water will be provided. Prize pool is $150!
