The Department of Moving Services

The Department of Moving services are available for official university business. Moves are conducted using professional equipment required to safely and securely handle University furnishings and equipment. Move requests must be reviewed by the moving staff to evaluate and estimate the full extent of the move. Resources are limited and require sufficient advance notice of move requests.  This should be done at least two to four weeks prior to the move request, which will ensure a properly planned and safely executed move.
